It’s no real shock that Kim Jong-Il’s heart was the cause of his death, considering the leader was hated by most people outside of his country for his inhumane actions. The only surprise that comes from this announcement is the fact that such a cold and harsh individual actually had a heart in his chest.  The North Korean leader responsible for turning his country into a nuclear-weapons power, died on Saturday of a heart attack.

Apparently, violence and aggression isn’t anything new with humans. National Geographic recently released information about a bashed-in, ancient skull found in China. This early human didn’t suffer a fall; he was bludgeoned.

It seems some people will do anything they can to get their hands on an iPad 2, including selling a kidney. A teenager in China coveted Apple’s popular tablet so much that he sold one of his organs afford the device.

“I wanted to buy an iPad 2, but I didn't have the money,” the 17-year-old boy told a Chinese news station. “When I surfed the internet I found an advert posted online by agent saying they were able to pay RMB20,000 [$3,085] to buy a kidney.”

Without his parents’ knowledge, the teen negotiated a fee and traveled to the city of Chenzhou for the risky surgery. The procedure was uneventful and after three days at the hospital the boy returned to his home $3,400 richer. Not surprisingly, the teen soon went on a major shopping spree and aroused the suspicion of his parents.
