After the release of James Cameron’s hit 1997 film, Titanic, the theme song “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion would be forever tied to the images of the sinking ship. So, the fact that that particular song, tied to the story of love and death, would be playing in a restaurant on the Costa Concordia as the ship began to sink is beyond ironic. It’s downright unsettling! And, it’s not the only creepy similarity between the two tragic accidents.

neti pot brain-eating amoeba killing people

The Louisiana state health department and the United States Center for Disease Control are investigating two recent deaths in the state that were likely caused by brain-eating amoebas and neti pots. It sounds ridiculous, but it is absolutely true.

It’s no real shock that Kim Jong-Il’s heart was the cause of his death, considering the leader was hated by most people outside of his country for his inhumane actions. The only surprise that comes from this announcement is the fact that such a cold and harsh individual actually had a heart in his chest.  The North Korean leader responsible for turning his country into a nuclear-weapons power, died on Saturday of a heart attack.

Despite the death threats from a few months back, Pinellas County court has released the names of the jurors and alternates in the Casey Anthony trial for the first time today. The jury was responsible for acquitting the Florida woman accused of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.
