It’s not a huge surprise that women are self-conscious going into beach season but some of the sacrifices they are willing to make in exchange for the perfect bikini body are. In a recent survey in Shape magazine they revealed some summertime stresses and what most ladies were willing to give up in order to score the physical appearance they are aiming for.

There is a ton of gray area when it comes to exercise, diet and nutrition. The people over at the Huffington Post did a little digging and came out with seven common misconceptions about exercising. Even those of us who love to exercise have trouble finding the motivation to get off the couch and head to the gym sometimes; especially around Daylight Savings Time. AskMen.com has released a list of great ways to push yourself to put down the potato chips and hit the treadmill! Don’t give up on those New Year’s resolutions yet. It’s only March!

It’s pretty standard for people trying to slim down to cut their caloric intake down to nothing or start the newest fad diet. Contrary to what most people think, chopping your calorie count to nothing isn’t healthy and neither is living on popsicles or whatever this week’s trend is. It’s all about portion size and frequency.
