Harold Wayne Lovell’s family spent the last 34 years thinking he had been one of the many victims of serial killer John Wayne Gacy (shown above).

The family had stopped looking for Harold a few years back, and was beyond shocked when a DNA test came back with a hit for an online booking photo and police record for a very much alive man. The mug shot was from a pot bust in Pinellas County, Fla. in 2006.

Nothing should surprise me, but every day it seems tales of really dumb people who do really stupid things just get more and more insane.  Sadly, most of the dumb crimes happen in Florida.

Take for instance 45-year-old Barbara Lee.  She was sitting at a bar in Florida and noticed a group of guys conversing in sign language.  The men were deaf and one of them mute.  She mistook the sign language as gang signs and believed they were making the signs at her.
