Halloween may be over month away, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your spooky drink on. Here are 10 beers inspired by ghosts, ghouls, and things that go bump in the night.

Newcastle Werewolf - “Werewolf is a dual-character brew that pours ‘blood’ red, starting smooth and ending with a bite.”

Apparition Ale, Moon River Brewing Company – “This beer is driven by malt flavors of caramel and toast with a fruity English ale yeast character.” Bonus: Savannah’s Moon River Brewing Company is reportedly haunted.

Ghost River Black Magic – “Ghost River Black Magic has a pronounced toasted malt flavor that creates a smooth roasted flavor without the bite found in a typical stout or porter. The end result is a dark beer with great flavor and drinkability.”

Dark Side Vanilla Porter, Empyrean Brewing Company
– “An infusion of an old-world beer style and contemporary soul.”

Fallen Angel Sweet Stout, Empyrean Brewing Company
- “We’ve crafted this English-styled stout using roasted malts and a healthy dose of lactose sugar to produce a creamy-rich beer with hints of roasted chocolate.”

Moorhouse Pendle Witches Brew
– “A full malty flavoured beer with a crisp sweet fruity aftertaste and soft citrus nose.” Bonus: Moorhouse is petitioning the UK government to consider a legal pardon for the infamous Pendle witches.

Alien Wheat, Sierra Blanca Brewery – “A blend of sweet orange and curacao orange peel and finishes with zesty coriander. So get ready to have your taste buds abducted!”

Hopness Monster, The Brewerie
– “This traditional British style India Pale Ale is graced with monstrous portions of three styles of hops.”

Li’l Devil, AleSmith Brewing Company – “Clean malt flavors with a hint of tangy hop tones. Refreshing, quenching and easy to drink.”

Boo Brew, Port Jeff Brewing Company – “With the color of pumpkin and spiced like pie, our Boo Brew easily puts a splash of fall in your glass.”
