Who Could That Be at This Hour?, the first book in a new series by celebrated children’s author Lemony Snicket, is set to hit book stores October 23, 2012. However, for a limited time fans can read the first chapter of the upcoming book on The Guardian’s website.
Who Could That Be at This Hour? is the first installment of Snicket’s new, four-book series, All the Wrong Questions.
From the publisher:
“Drawing on events that took place during a period of his youth spent in a fading town, far from anyone he knew or trusted, Snicket chronicles his experiences as an apprentice in an organisation nobody knows about. While there, he began to ask a series of questions - wrong questions that should not have been on his mind.”
According to Daniel Handler, aka Lemony Snicket's, conversation with The Times, All the Wrong Questions is “mostly an entirely new story. But if you are a close reader of the series (A Series of Unfortunate Events) you will see some overlap. There will be something for people who are hungry for that sort of thing.”
