Nothing should surprise me, but every day it seems tales of really dumb people who do really stupid things just get more and more insane.  Sadly, most of the dumb crimes happen in Florida.

Take for instance 45-year-old Barbara Lee.  She was sitting at a bar in Florida and noticed a group of guys conversing in sign language.  The men were deaf and one of them mute.  She mistook the sign language as gang signs and believed they were making the signs at her. 

She confronted the men who motioned for her to leave them alone.  Well instead of just leaving them alone she decides to leave and return with 19 year-old Marco Ibanez.  Ibanez then pulled out a knife and began to stab the two men. 

The deaf men suffered stab wounds to the torso and back, while an intervening bouncer was struck on the head with a bottle. 

Ibanez and Lee were taken into custody and have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon. 

Or the Florida teen who willingly told cops he smokes weed, lots of weed.

The sheriff’s office was conducting a search of a residence when a 19-year-old drove up to the residence. He must have missed the police cars lined up on the street. 

An officer approached the car and smelled marijuana.  This prompted the cops to detain the man. When he asked what the probable cause was, they told him the smell of pot.  To which the young man replied, “Yeah, I smoke weed, a lot of weed.”

That’s it,  just implicate yourself and give them more probable cause to search your car.  That’s bright!
