Calling all Sweet Valley High fans! After the success of last year’s Sweet Valley Confidential, author Francine Pascal will release a series of new e-books about Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield’s adult lives. The series, The Sweet Life, will pick up a few years after Sweet Valley Confidential left off. Bonus: The first two books debuted yesterday!

"(The Wakefield twins) are 30 now, they look different and their experiences have been broadened but inside their heads they’re still those 16 year old girls," Pascal told Yahoo! Shine.



The e-books, scheduled for release each Sunday from July 15 to August 12, will follow Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield as they build successful careers, work on their love lives, and, in Jessica’s case, raise a child. It seems Jessica is still married to Elizabeth’s high school sweetheart, Todd Wilkins, and the two are raising a two-year-old son, Jake. Elizabeth, meanwhile, is living the high life with Jessica’s old flame, Bruce Patman. Both of the twins have successful careers, though their jobs tend to add drama to their lives.
