A battle over just how weird Asheville should be is one of the results of local participation in yesterday’s GoTopless rallies. It is not currently illegal for women to go topless in the state of North Carolina. Ironically, yesterday’s rally has inspired some conservative Asheville residents to push for a law that would require that women keep their breasts covered in public. 

Another woman suffering from Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder has made the news. Kim Ramsey of Montclair, New Jersey said that she has 100 orgasms per day, and that they leave her sore and exhausted. The arousal is not due to any sexual stimuli, and can be set off by any pressure on contact with the genitals. Doctors say that as many as one in a hundred people have PGAD, and that it could be caused by Tarlov cysts, small benign cysts that form on the spine.

Here’s a method not yet tried by the serial wedders featured on our sister site Planet Love Match last week: jetpack wedding. On Thursday in Newport Beach, California, a couple donned water powered jet packs at opposite ends of Newport Bay. The jetpacks suck up water through a tube and bring passengers into the air by expelling the water at 500 pounds of pressure. The couple met in the middle of the bay to exchange vows, and then jetted around the bay together once in a processional loop and even danced to their song, Frank Sinatra’s (highly appropriate) Come Fly with Me.
