Most celebrities get acknowledged when they are terrible tippers, but one major star was recognized recently for his extreme generosity! Former quarterback for the Indianapolis Colts, four-time MVP and current highly demanded free agent Peyton Manning left an over-the-top tip for one waiter that got major media attention and cost the waiter his job!

The football star was at Angus Barn in Raleigh, N.C. where he racked up a $739.58 tab, which included 18 percent gratuity. Because that 18 percent clearly wasn’t enough, Manning tacked on an additional $200 tip, making the waiters total earnings from the bill about $312! Now that’s an awesome night at work!

Unfortunately for the server who scored big, he took a picture of the receipt and put it on Facebook which made the owner of Angus Barn pretty angry. That $312 ended up costing the guy his job! Maybe next time he’ll just be grateful for the extra cash and keep the story behind it to himself. Some of the worst celebrity tippers are Tiger Woods and LeBron James who have left less than 10 percent, sometimes even nothing behind for their servers.
