Who says beer can’t have a place of honor at a couple’s wedding? The Boston Brewing Company has created a beer especially for newlyweds – Samuel Adams Brewlywed Ale.
Created by founder Jim Koch for his daughter’s wedding, Brewlywed Ale will only be available for a limited time, just one day in fact. The Boston-based brewer is inviting all recent brides, grooms, and newly-engaged couples to try a bottle of the Belgian-style pale golden ale on Thursday, July 26 (tomorrow!). Wedding experts will be available at the Boston brewery to help couples incorporate beer into their big day, and a justice of peace will also be on hand to marry beer-loving couples on the spot. Visit Samuel Adams’ blog for more information.
“Like marriage, you’ll see that it’s a beautiful, golden wedding ring color,” Koch said of the new ale. “Cheers to matrimony.”
Brewlywed Ale certainly isn’t the first novelty beer created by Samuel Adams. In March, the brewer released 26.2 Brew, a beer developed in honor of the Boston Marathon. 26.2 Brew is only available in Boston during the spring.
