Men who suffer from a flat booty finally have some good news coming to them.

A Canadian manufacturer has created padded undergarments tailored specifically for males. The company is called Bottoms Up and its motto is “Building a Better Bottom.”

The company offers all kinds of shape enhancing products for both genders, but mostly focuses on men’s bottoms.

The boxer-briefs have built in pockets in the cheek area for the pads to be inserted. They come in three sizes called “Quarterback,” “Halfback,” and “Fullback.” There is also an area in the front for men to insert a pad, you know, just in case.

The underpants are completely discreet, also. There is a seam that travels down the crack-area that keeps the pads separated. They are also anatomically correct as they are based on molds of people’s butts.

The padded underwear has certainly boosted men’s self-esteem, but that was a happy side effect as it was not creator Rick Mucha’s original intent.

“I designed the first pair in 2001 to help a friend of mine who had AIDS. His muscle structure was all messed up and he was uncomfortable sitting, so I tried to create something to ease that,” he said. The product continues to be popular among the AIDS community.

War veterans are also finding benefits in the butt pads. Many have suffered from muscular injuries and other complications that make it difficult to sit. People with cancer or other illnesses that have lost weight have found comfort in the undergarments as well.

One last frequent buyer is the frequent flier. They find it more comfortable to fly with the extra padding on their derriere. The same has proven true for those with desk jobs.

The underwear costs $39.99 per pair and is available here.
